Amazon has announced a deal for Mother’s Day: purchase either a Kindle 3 or Kindle DX, and you will receive a free $25 Amazon gift card plus free shipping.  That seems like a pretty good deal to me, as you can give Mom (or someone else) a new Kindle plus a $25 gift card for Mom to buy her first couple of books.
