A Rambling Blog Post

It’s time for another rambling blog post….in other words, I have no set agenda and I never really know what I am going to say before I start banging away on the keyboard like I am right now.  If you would like to write to me, my email address is michael at fkbt dot com (I write it out that way in a small effort to thwart the spammers in the world).

The Blog’s Social Media Sites

I receive several messages a week asking if the blog is on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and other social media sites.  The short answer is yes, yes, yes, and I don’t have enough time for more social media sites!  If you don’t want to receive the free daily email (you can signup at www.fkbt.com/subscribe), you can see what is being posted at these sites:

Facebook page: click here or go to https://www.facebook.com/fkbooks (and give the page a “Like”)

Twitter: click here or go to https://twitter.com/FKBT (and click the “Follow” icon)

Pinterest: click here or go to https://pinterest.com/fkbooks

What is an e-Ink Kindle?

A frequent question I receive is “what is an e-Ink Kindle?”  The short answer is it is any Kindle that does not have the word “Fire” in it!

Sell Your Old Kindle

I received a blast advertising email from Amazon a few weeks ago, asking me if I had an old Kindle I wanted to sell back to them (working or not) in return for an Amazon gift card.  The prices they are offering (to me) don’t seem that high, but if you have one just sitting around gathering dust you might want to consider turning it in for a gift card.  You can click here or type in http://tinyurl.com/kindletrade into your web browser to give the offers a look.

It’s not just Kindle’s they are looking for you to trade-in, but other electronics such as calculators, old cell phones, laptops, and just about any other flavor of electronic.  You can check out the deals, and possibly get a new gift card in return for your unused electronics, if you click here or type in http://smarturl.it/tradein into your web browser.

Have a great weekend!
