Black Friday at Amazon has officially started…all of that other stuff was just a warm-up.
To check out all of the deals, you can click here or type in http://smarturl.it/amazonbfridayinto your web browser. The deals will change every hour – sometimes they are for maybe an hour or two, others will last all day.
So, what have I seen so far? Let’s start with the Kindle-related stuff:
A Kindle DX with free international 3G is discounted to just $169 – that’s less than the price of a Paperwhite. If you are unfamiliar with the DX model, it’s the larger screen e-Ink Kindle and I use mine all of the time. Seeing as how these used to cost $499, and are now regularly priced at $239, this one to me is a steal. You can check it out if you click here or type in http://smarturl.it/kindledx into your web browser.
The Kindle Daily Deal will re-populate in about two hours from the time of this post. I’ve been told on good authority (hint) you’ll be very pleased at the offerings which will also feature 25 cinematic Kindle books for only $1.99 each: the lineup will include several new box office release tie-ins such as Star Trek Into Darkness, The Silence of the Lambs, and The Pianist. You can click here or type in http://smarturl.it/dailydeal into your web browser to check these out.
I’ve seen a list of the things that will be offered starting at different times throughout the day – they seem to have everything on people’s wishlists including trampolines, a Kuerig coffee maker that I think I may have to sneak in to my office address, some tools, a new large computer monitor that would look great in my home office, and more things than I could list in this post.
Looking for more – or a more reliable – source of free books for your Kindle? You can check out my book, Free Kindle Books and How to Find Them, which was updated in November 2013 if you click here or type in http://smarturl.it/fkb into your web browser!
